Yesterday I decoupaged these MDF blocks I got from Stampin-up - I had originally wanted to decoupage pictures on them, but decided I wanted to add some more color into my living room. I kind of like them. Not sure if I'll keep using all seven, but for now I will.

This week I went to Salt Lake for two meetings and once to visit Grandmother. Mom and I started planning Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. What we are have and who is in charge of what. It will be great this year because Missy and her kids are going to be coming down. I really look forward to it.

Last night Colton called and talked for a while. He is such a sweet, smart boy. he will be 12 on the 30th of this month.



I did one crafty thing so far this week. Made a Halloween jar for Brenda and of course I have a picture here for you.

Christmas Tin

Well here it is my first Christmas tin. It took about 3 hours to make. I think it turned out pretty dang good!

I'm tired of driving to Salt Lake!!!!! Twice last week, four times this week and three times next week. Enough already!!

Going to Judy's retirement dinner tonight. I made her this jar as a gift.

I almost forgot to post that Millie is finally starting to walk on her leg. She limps,but none the less is using it. I'm so happy. Just a few minutes ago she walked on it all the way through the kitchen and into the living room. Yea!! Go Millie!!

Yesterday I went to Cornbelly's with Stacie and her girls. We had a great time and I love that they included me in their outing. Tonight they will pick me up and we'll all go over to Cheryl's house for a Halloween party. I'm going to dress up as a doctor. It was the only thing I could think of on short notice. I also made a scarecrow cake to take. here is a picture.

I also made a card and a coffin at club last night. They were fun to make it was nice getting out.

Yesterday I went with Art to his missionary reunion. They had good food and I met some very nice people. His mission present came from Michigan to be there.

I'm going up to visit with Grandmother today. Mom and Earl are there too, so it will be a family affair.

Today is also World Card making day! I'll have to get my rear in gear and make at least one card today. Can't let World Card making day go by without making a card!

Utah is such a great place to live. Some people don't like the weather changes, but I sure do. It's wonderful to see nature change with all the seasons. God did a wonderful job creating this state.

was fun! The movie was really cute.

Week of Sept 28 - Oct 2

On Monday I took Mom to SLC, because Grandmother was in the hospital. She gave us a scare, but she is now back home.

Wednesday I went out to lunch with Sammie. She and the baby seem to be doing just great! It was nice to visit with her for short time and I was able to give her the treat jar and birthday card I made.

Today I'm headed out to go see the movie "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" with Stacie and her girls. Should be a fun time!
